Default Speed Stuttering

.We have a 2011 Club Car Precedent I2 Excel with acceleration issues. When driving it, it loses speed as you are driving. It kind of stutters some. We have isolated the problem to the accelerator peddle. When you press down as hard as you can, it doesn’t do it. If you simply push the peddle all the way down normally, it does it. It runs really well when pressed down firmly. We cleaned the speed sensor. It could be the MCOR but just hate to replace it if it is not the issue.

Why would it correct the problem by pressing down hard on the peddle? Is it possible that there is a physical issue with the peddle rather than electric? It is just strange to me that when I mash down really hard it works fine.

Never seen a Precedent with a worn MCOR linkage. The MCOR itself is your most likely cause here. With your year and application, you'd need to order the AM293001 conversion kit.

Try putting the cart in neutral and pressing the go pedal 20 or 30 times. then put it back in forward and see if it is any better.
