Honestly the video made me cringe a little on higher / higher. I think if the case was left on the motor that would help as the more the motor weighs the more inertia it has to come off... my experience with this did not require so much effort. Also I wore work boots not sneakers

No you are right it didn’t take as much force as the video shows, but as I said I was basically just tapping it on the ground

If the case was left on the motor, the tiny screws would pull through the bearing retainer and the case would come flying off, leaving the armature as you see it here. I've seen people do it. The reason your experience with this didn't require so much effort is probably because you were doing it on E-Z-Go carts if I had to guess. Those E-Z-Go 19 spline motors don't get stuck nearly as bad as the 10 spline Club Car ones. The 10-Splines are much deeper and bite that much harder, that's why they don't strip out all the time like the E-Z-Go ones do. Work boots are over-rated. I don't even own a pair anymore. I wear flip-flops.

Safety boots will protect your feet for light blows and bumps however, if a major force is applied to the top/toe area of a safety boot, it is designed to cut your toes off cleanly so they can be reattached. A smashed toe is unusable. Just something to think about. Be Safe!

I agree with you, but I don't typically do a lot of risky work anymore. I have hired help who can do that kind of stuff. I do more quality control at the shop than I do actual building of cars. The online store and parts running keeps me busy 80% of the day.

no it was Club Car - Never had to do that to an Ezgo.

And work boots have their benefits. I hate to say this but - wait. nvrmnd. Hopefully you never have to learn
