Re: Cart STILL wont charge ! ! !
What a shame here really ... if or when these batteries come back up they will be seriously compromised in their ability to hold a charge (resulting in diminished run times)and their general useful life span..... I hope a few people read this and realize how important it is to keep your batteries charged up even when not in use... Are you snowbirds listening

CONGRATS, Hey Scottyb, shouldn't he check his water levels and maybe leave the caps cracked to vent.

Re: Cart STILL wont charge ! ! !
I assume he checked his water levels A FEW MONTHS AGO!!! And yeah leaving a cap off wouldn't hurt but not critical.... hopefully we are not getting them hot enough to blow

Re: Cart STILL wont charge ! ! !
Yea, I had already checked the water levels. As far as not knowing about leaving the batteries, I asked the guy when I baught them if there was anything I needed to do to help the life of the batteries, and he said no, not really. I am new to the golf cart thing, but I know from experience that an uncharged battery is not good. I just didn't know how to keep them all charged since the computer was broke. The batteries are a lot weaker for sure. So looks like a new set is next on the agenda. Thanks for your input and helpfulness with my problem. I didn't realize I was going to take a bashing for it though. Thanks anyway.
