My wife is just the opposite. She gets in my carts and creeps along I'm on the side yelling floor it ~ punch it, Go go go

Does anyone have a picture of how the controller, and selenoid are wired. I think it is a wiring problem. Replaced the main leads to the motor and it solved most of the fluttering problem, but now have lost reverse and cant run it because the motor gets extremely hot (very quickly)

Good, now we know that you have a 1997 DCS model drivetrain.

You will find a schematic here:

Be sure you are using the diagrams marked for DCS carts.
