The crazy thing is that I have the exact cart next to this one and it is wired the same way and it runs fine...

ok , now for the voice of doom and gloom......

I am gonna make an assumption that the cart has the stock controller in it? I can see that the Solenoid is stock.

The 2-1 does indeed indicate low voltage and you already said the controller side of the solenoid is at 28 volts. the cart has a serious modified lift and tires on it. with Stock parts and a mixed bag of batteries.

Get ready to shell out some serious dough. Get a matched set of new batteries (I would suggest getting 8-6v batteries. Get a 48 volt HD solenoid (I would suggest an MZJ400). Get a 650 AMP Alltrax PDS controller and a motor that can handle the torque you are asking it to produce.

Oh yeah, and you'll need a 48 volt charger too.......

I agree, this thing is so mismatched. PDS carts can be a good cart, but with stock controller solenoid you are chasing blind on this one.

lmao Scotty..... let's just REALLY make it worse.......

I want to know why people are so quick to spend THOUSANDS of dollars modifying carts in EXTREME configurations, then leave low grade stock electrical components to drive them........

It happens all the time..... folks are quick to spend $1000 or $1500 on a lift kit wheels/tires, a fancy steering wheel, and some paint .......... but what about the stuff you can't see?

I guess that's what being a tech is all about? When I build a cart it is from the inside out. First thing I want to put on a cart is a bigger controller.
