The club car axle is known to get loud as they age, the Yamaha axle has been bomb proof. Both are tough axles.

To be honest, Had too many projects at the time and not enough interest in an electric cart. I'm more of a gas guy... I welded the support frame back together with some *much* heavier tubing, and I was able to make it run/drive a bit with some borrowed batteries, but that's about as far as I got. I can't say I was motivated enough to drop $500 on new batteries for it so I let this one go cheap. I think I sold it for $300 just to clear some space in my shop. AT the time I had this golf cart, a honda foreman, 2 honda rubicons, a honda recon 250, 3 suzuki LT80's, my G9 (and my 60" gravely mower lives inside which takes up a huge footprint by itself). Too many toys and not enough space, you couldn't walk in there lol. Think I have some pictures of everything jammed in there somewhere...
