Yes, that is the correct one for 48v and the Relay coil is the only difference for 36v vs 48v system, sorry I am not familiar with Yamaha.

The wires on the left go to the "small posts" or activation terminals on the Reversing Contactor coils.

Whichever coil has power when your Key-switch is on Reverse is the one You want to connect the new relay wires shown on the left to the positive and negative activation terminals.

You are awesome Segio :) I really appreciate the help with this, plus the lower cost benefit of your solution. I'd much rather spend little dollars than BIG dollars plus having to remove the PB-6 lol.

Let us know how it worked and which speed you used (50% or 65%)?

I updated the original post with the link for the 48v relay and the notation on the drawing as well.

I was just getting ready to put this together but how do I connect the relay to controller #2 and #3 terminals; when I already have the PB-6 wired to those same terminals? Can you please detail this a bit more for me?

There are several ways to connect to those wires or terminals, just keep in mind two points (no reason to over do it):
It is a very low current connection.
In case of a connection failure the cart would just run at full speed in reverse.

If You run the cart through a lot of water, some options are:
Strip a little insulation from the wires that go to Terminals #2 and #3 and solder the wires that go to the reduced speed relay.
Cut the existing quick connectors OFF and crimp both wires (existing + relay wire) to a new quick connector.
Use Posi Lock tap connectors.

For all other applications since it is not a critical connection I would just use blue Scotchlok Tap Connectors in each of the wires that go to Terminal #2 and #3.
