Default Torque motor 2008 YDRE

Hi all, posting for a friend. He has a lifted '08 YDRE with new 12v Trojans and an FSIP 500 amp controller. He is interested in upgrading to a torque motor, but I'm curious which one would work best for his application. Leaning toward the torque motor from FSIP, but wondering if anything else would be a better choice. Also, will he need a new map installed? I'm only used to Alltrax.. Thx!

Is he wanting to put the FSIP torque motor in a lifted cart with big tires and a stock controller?
Alltrax does use a specific map for this motor when used with the XCT controller, we can supply that here if needed.

He has a FSIP 500 amp controller. The cart is lifted w/bigger tires. Stock cables i believe.

Does his current FSIP controller need a new map when he replaces stock motor for FSIP high torque motor?

Most likely yes, but ask fsip what they suggest for their torque motor.
