Default G29 will try to roll then solenoid disengages

Hi guys,
I recently purchased a used 2013 G29 from a guy an after about a week I started to develop problems with the cart. When I try to accelerate from stopped the cart with briefly roll then you will hear the solenoid click and the cart will do nothing. You can reset the run/tow switch and the same thing will happen again. I have found that if you just barely press the accelerator it will allow you to move but as soon as you give it any more pressure the solenoid will disengage again. I took the cart to our local golf cart mechanic and he had no luck with it. He had swapped the controller, solenoid, throttle position sensor, stop switch, ignition, and run/tow switch with no improvement. Basically told me to come get it because he could not figure it out. I will add that occasionally the cart will run exceptionally well for a brief period but the solenoid gets very hot, even when not running like its constantly under power. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S:
The mechanic called me yesterday and told me to unhook the speed sensor and see if it would run but when I disconnected it it made no difference.

You made no mention of your batteries. Have you tested them under load?

Open rear cover, attach meter test leads to controller terminals B+ and B-. Drive again and pay close attention to just how low the voltage goes just as the failure occurs. I am looking for general power delivery issues , and I did read that you have new batteries.
