2006 G22 pedal response is this normal
Hi I recently purchased a 2006 g22 48v cart everything stock other then lift kit. This is my first Yamaha I have always had ezgo’s. I have noticed that went i press the accelerator pedal there is a 2-3 second delay before cart reacts. This is aggravating I can’t seem gradually accelerate from a stop unless I barely press and and what for cart to react then start to speed up.
Is this normal for Yamaha’s carts |

I would be checking the motor speed sensor. Does the reverse beeper sound & the cart resists movement when cart is pushed? (That would indicate the speed sensor IS working)

Yes if I try to push cart the reversed buzzer will start to chirp and get very hard to move

Well, there were several software revisions over the years to fix odd operation problems. But, it makes no difference in this situation, dealers were never able to do them, the controller was shipped to Yamaha.
