Default Headlight Option and Install question

I have a Yamaha 1996 16a gas cart. I want to hook up some headlights.
Should I go with LED lights or Halogen? If I go halogen will it drain by battery too fast? I've seen some halogen lights at Wal-Mart for around 25.00.
How difficult are these to hook up?

I usually just get my lights at Walmart. Never had a problem. I had 3 sets on this cart. All were hooked up with separate switches and I really never ran more than one set at a time. Had two sets in front just in case one went out or needed the extra light at night and one set in the rear for backing up (one of best things I ever did with the backup lights).

On some LED lights you might have to get a load equalizer!! I have ran into that problem before. I know on the Harleys that my dad works on he has to use the load equalizer all the time!!

I'm still looking into lights and trying to decide what I want/need. I'm not familiar with a load equalizer. Would you mind giving some details of what it is and why it's needed.

Thanks!

Good deal. I used Fusion rattle can paint on that cart and it turned out pretty good. Be sure to get us some pic's: before and after.
