those sheaves are hard to get off unless you have a puller. you can make one like i did. see pic. the small bolts are 6mm metrics that thread into the outer sheave

Consalvo,
If your in Phx. go to Desert golf carts. You need the 3 ramp shoes on the heilex (part where the white spring is) and your sliding sheave may be damaged where it slides on those 3 shoes. That sliding sheave can't move back because the shoes are missing. Get that sheave moving and I think a new belt will work fine. Sheave I think is about 55. shoes about 3. and belt I don't know. Good luck Mike

You need to get it apart as all your clutch slides are missing

ok everyone i got everything in and all backtogether and am having a few problems. First was the motor was back firing and was bogging down real bad. I put a new seal and gaskets in the carb spacer and new seal around air box and was still bogging down. I covered the inlet hole on the airbox and it started to run a lot better. Why do i need more air? its barely getting any now but when i plugged the whole it began to idle better. Then i started to drive it down the street and the bolt that holds on the rear sheaves gave way and everything went flying down the road lol... So now i need a new key.. Just need some help fine tuning the motor now... please help

check your carb adjustments, 1 1/2 turns out on the mixture screw, and 1/4 on the throttle stop screw. is your airfilter clean?
