Are there any golf cart wheels that have a positive offset? It seems to me everyone wants a wider wheelbase so that requires a negative offset.

thanks

Why would you want a wheelbase that is narrower than stock... unless you work for the railroad and need one of those goofy looks that happens in order to line up with the tracks.

Most modify their/our rigs for either stability on the trail, which is a little wider foot print, some want the sporty look with the wider track... or both, a sporty look with the stability for the off road use. Then there are some simply don't care what it looks like, but need the extra offset simply to clear some tires that they "need" for a particular purpose. Hope this helps a little.

no positive is the wider offset..

SS112
H series and a few others have the 5+2 thats the negative offset that works on the stock height carts

I notice on the "wicked" website that some of the "low profile" wheel and tire combo's show 215/35/12 tires and some show 235/30/12 tires. Yet both are 18.5 inches tall. What is the difference in appearance of these two tires?. Does one give the "appearance" of a bigger wheel/smaller sidewall over the other? What is the difference in appearance of these two tires. Given that I am only going to use this cart on smooth ground and/or pavement I'm not concerned about aggressive tread/traction but more interested in the "cool" factor.

Thanks

Further to my question about wheel offset I have a couple of more questions.

I was told that a particular wheel had the following offset
"-25ET (2.5+4.5)" and that the wheel would stick out approx 2 inches more than a stock wheel.

This doesn't seem right to me. I presume the 25ET is mm which is approx 1 inch. Also the 2.5+4.5 indicates an offset of 1 inch.

Am I interpreting this wrong or was the guy wrong when he said 2 inches?

Thanks

your stock wheel should be a center of set of 3+3 and the new wheels might be 2+5 so then it is 2" wider offset than the stock... i hope this helps

Ive noticed Duro tires that are 18/10.00-10

They look interesting but I haven't seen any pics of what they would actually look like on a cart.

Anyone have thoughts about theses tires and where I might see them on a cart.

Thanks
