G16 front suspension question
Hi guys I am new to the golf cart scene. I have a 1999 G16 according to my serial numbers. My question is I just bought the cart and first thing I did was unhook the governer and change the oil. While I had it jacked up I noticed you could put one hand on the top of the tire and one on the bottom and the front wheel would flop around like a rag doll. So I want to know what I need to buy to fix the problem. Do these carts just have king pin bushings or bearings or wheel bearings or what. I am looking to put a lift on the cart with bigger tires and I want to fix the front end when I do the lift. From what I gather the lift will not come with the stuff I need to fix the front end flopping around. Thanks and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: G16 front suspension question
The spindles have kingpins and the hubs have bearings.
You can determine what is worn/loose by jacking it up and shaking it while you look! Just an Idea. Welcome to BGW!!! Best cart site South of the North Pole!! |
