Default G2 not wanting to go into gear

I just finished my G2 build and I'm trying to work out all the bug's.The cart started out shifting into gear with no problem's,then suddenly it doesn't want to go into forward or reverse.I tried adjusting the cable's and it will shift into gear, just not easily and I'm affraid of snapping the cable's..

Please help..

Sounds like it's time for new f/r shift cables. I recommend changing both at the same time, don't want to do that job twice.

I never said it was an easy job. Take off the muffler and get it out of the way, manually move the shift lever and see if it goes into forward and reverse, you can check it by turning the secondary clutch. Aftermarket f/r cables are ok...Yamaha's are just to expensive (stainless steel and plastic liner)..big bucks. Good luck, let us know what you find.

Replacing the cable's just seem's to be to easy of a fix.Could the problem be something other than the cable's?
