Rear Hitch
I am new to carting and this forum. I bought a 2000 G-16 I have the Yamaha hitch to install on the rear. I see the hitch is threaded but my bolts are to small, Should I replace with longer ones that thread into the hitch ? S/S ? or ? Also how do you remove the rear plastic flooring were the bags sit ? There are plastic type screw heads holding it ?

Re: Rear Hitch
Jig, to start with Welcome to the sight!
And yes mine has plastic push rivets, some call them trees. They can be pushed out from under neath the car, or work them out with a small screwdriver from the outside. then there should be 2 bolts holding it down at the bottom, going through the rear cross member (frame) |
