Every question I asked he lied, right to my face. Now I have a POS cart that I don't want to dump more money into.

In order to get it running right I will need to do a complete engine overhaul.
Suspension overhaul, shocks etc.
Need to find a donor cart for frame pieces to weld them in correctly not some half assed tac job. Or another frame
New front tires.
Muffler, oil cap. etc.

I'm just not sure I want to throw any more money at this. About the only good thing is the trans and rear end seem OK. But then again I don't know enough about the clutch trans to know what is good and what isn't. By the time I finish I could have more in it than scrapping it and going out and buying another cart.

If it was just the engine then I could say OK, I'll rebuild it. But with the frame etc.
Now if I can find a good cart with a good frame somewhere close I would think about doing a rebuild.

Well guys, I'm giving up on the G9. I ran it today with it filled with oil, and when it ran it didn't smoke, or very little so I'm selling it locally.
I had just ordered a clutch kit, jet, gas door, performance muffler from Plowmans which I will be putting on the for sale or if anyone wants any of this.
10% off everything.

The maybe good news is I was talking to a friend and he has a 1996 G16 that just quit on him. New primary clutch a year ago. Has everything and a good looking cart, rear seat, turn signals, head lights and taillights etc. Just need to get it running hasn't run in a year.

So I guess this means you all not getting rid of me yet!
If the G16 works out I'll be doing some mods to it. I'm a marine mechanic and can't keep my hands off things, that and 28 years racing powerboats and the need for speed is always there.

If anyone needs any of the new parts or the old cart PM me. I'm in South Carolina, I'll be glad to name the kid that sold me the first cart too.
