Default 95 DS Gas Running issue

Have been working on a 95 Club Car DS Gas for about a week now and am at whits end. It will fire fine, then after warms up will start cutting out. It has
175 psi compression, new coil, checked ignitor, new starter generator, checked battery, cleaned carb, fresh fuel, new plug... Would a plugged muffler cause this to happen?
Any ideas would be helpful on where to look next.

Thanks.

Try removing the ground wire from the rpm limiter first and see if that helps. Second, you say you checked the igniter ? These things are notorious for breaking down and are almost impossible to meter out with conventional battery / ohm testers. They will give just the symptoms you describe so if the rpm limiter trick doesn't work I'd replace it.

I tried a new one, still did same thing. Where is RPM limiter located?
Thanks again.

The limiter is located under the front of the engine casing. It's a black box approx 3x2". There is a brown wire from it that is grounded to the engine case close by the limiter location (10mm iirc) remove and insulate it.

Mine was doing the same thing, and I found out that the valves had a lot of carbon on them. I removed the head and cleaned the valves, then it ran much better.

So far, have un-hooked the limiter, and as of right now is running ok... Gonna try again tomorrow and see what happens... Is the limiter needed? Say, if I leave that ground wire un-hooked is it going to hurt it?
Thanks again

sounds like your ignitor is going out.

Nah, sounds more like a bad limiter to me if the ground wire disconnect works. Common issue on CC carts.

Sorry didn't get back on sooner, but yes the limiter was the issue. Thanks again to those that helped.
