sounds like you need new springs if the seat is hitting the top of the plug.

Or if you're cheap, cut a small hole or chisel out a divot in the wood in bottom of the seat right where the plug is.

Thats they plan didn't know if anyone knew of a deal with the snubber.

When i was waiting on the new snubber i stuck a 2x4 block in between the old snubber and the frame rail and it worked great!!! no broken plugs. Might do that again with the new snubber.

I wonder I that was a problem with those older bodies? The motor in my cart now came out of an '86 and the top of the motor has dents in it as if someone put a 2x4 on it for that very reason. Interesting.

My cart has a newer rear body, maybe the new bodies sit up higher because I don't think my seat has come anywhere near my spark plug as far as I know.

I put a newer body on mine recently and still busted the plug and boot.

Hmmm.. i think i had the wrong plug and i know i had the wrong cap... i just got the equivilent at the local shop when it broke last season, so i could use it.

I'm ordering the correct parts this time.
