Default Would you buy this?

Hey guys,
I'm an EZgo owner but ran across this add for a cart.

Included:
1991 Club Car
New 13 horse Harbor Freight engine that's never been run with electric start.
Clutch adapter to mount club car clutch on new engine shaft.
Good 2 year old battery from Costco.

This is not a bolt together project. You will need to fabricate an engine mount and cut the engine shaft.
This is a great start on a custom cart for a great price.

What are the pros and cons of doing this project? The cost is $500.00 would you do it? Thanks for any help you can offer, maybe I will be a convert to CC.
Thanks,
Scott

That's a good buy. If you have a little fabrication skills and want to invest a little time, it would be a great project to keep or resale and make a little money. The engine alone sells for $350 on sale at HF. For more on the topic check out the:

I went ahead and bought it, I figure if I can't find a way to get a shaft cut in a city of 2 million I should give up. The motor mount should be easy, wish me luck.
