Just send it to me and I'll rebuild it for you. Chances are all it needs is brushes.

Putting in new brushes isnt hard, if it acts like its bad by only turning over once in a while or if it just doesn't have enough oomph, for 18$ its worth a shot.I just rebuilt one and after new brushes it started moving the cart, thats how fast it was turning.

I just bought an 84 gas ezgo that runs good, but I've had to charge the battery a couple of times already. I don't think the charging system is working. When the charger is attached, and I crank it up, the charger shows a higher rate than when it's not running. With the wheels off the ground of course..... But, it spins it well. Can one crank the engine over but yet not charge the battery? Thanks for any tips and help! Woody

Yes, if the voltage regulator is not working.

Thanks, I did some searching and believe that is the problem!! I've had EzGo carts for many years and been lucky to have never had a problem, so my luck just changed. Getting a regulator tomorrow! Thanks alot, Woody
