Default my DE-40 project

hi all
this is my first post but i hope you'll enjoy it.
i recived this cart from my mom about a year ago, as you can see pretty stright but not much to look at so i took a week off work and started the resto

first every thing must come off down to the frame

clean and paint all misc. parts. wire brush all aluminum

Nice job! I wish I had started with a 4 wheeler, it would have made my project much easier! Not seeing many Harley posts, but the sight has some great info. Wish I had found it sooner, but been busy.:)

got my new speed bord friday and now the harley is running under its own power again hopeing to get the fiber glass back from paint in a few weeks ill post pics when i get it back.

Could you post a picture of the solenoid wiring in your cart. I just bought a 78 DE-40 and have some wiring issues that caused a small fire. I have a separate post about the issues I have but if you had a picture of your wiring it moght solve my problems...
