Another Ezgo Project
I ran into this little ezgo last week.
The good thing about this one is I am the one who helped unload it off the truck way back when it was new 23 years ago. It came from our golf course. Our city had an auction about three years ago and this one was sold. I bid on it but quit when it got higher than I wanted to pay. Now fast forward to last week. I ran into the person that bought this cart that day. I asked him if he ever got it running and he said no. He said someone had took parts off it before he had a chance to pick it up about 10 days after the auction. It had been sitting right where he unloaded it back then. I asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said make him an offer. I made an offer and he said sold. The engine was in it but turned over sideways as someone was trying to get the good parts off it before the buyer picked it up. You could tell ever who was trying to rob parts didn't know what they were doing . This cart has no rust and the drive clutch looks like new inside. I just had to peak inside to see. The engine is so clean. I am not used to seeing one this clean on the outside. I am sure it won't look good inside but I got that taken care of. Test engine goes in this one. The mud on the tires came from the farm where I picked the cart up. I got plenty of spare parts to make it run again. I just picked up an extra box of wire nuts lol I will update on what I find inside that engine. I just can't seem to retire . Maybe one day |

I was looking for the pics too, I even looked behind my phone in case they had fallen off my screen.

Re: Another Ezgo Project
Now that I think of it I do believe all these things were missing when I bid on this cart three years.
It was a part out cart but I hope to put parts back on it soon. Here is what I got That rusty piston don't move when I turn it over. My bet is a rod broke and they junked it out. The intakes are pulled all the way through seats. The head is good though. |
