2005 Club Car DS brake pedal adjustment

I just installed 6" lift kit and now my brake pedal goes almost to the floor. Is this typical? Or does the pedal or brakes need to be adjusted?

Probably more likely you just need to move the adjuster under the floor a bit. That's a 10 minute exercise with a couple of half inch or adjustable wrenches.

Are the cables properly attached to the mount brackets on the axle?
Are the brackets twisted out away from the spring? If so, loosen the u-bolt or clamp bolts and use a prybar or something to turn the brackets so the bolts are tight up against the spring. Hold it there and re-tighten the u-bolts.
