Default Under cart LED lights

With the holidays gone I removed the Xmas lights. My daughter loved having them on. I liked the light on at night just for the fact that it made the cart more visible (safety, As in people were more aware.) With that being said I think I want to do an under the cart light kit. I was about to buy one kit, was reading reviews not so good. Any brand better than the other? I just don’t want to buy a kit and it brakes. Would rather cry once! Thanks.

I’ve got a cheap color changing kit from Amazon think it was like 16 bucks or so. I’ve had it for over 2 years now and it still works perfectly fine.

Are there better ones? Probably. Are there nicer ones? Probably.

But for 16 bucks it changes a bunch of colors and does a bunch of stuff and looks great. If one of the led strips goes out, I can’t complain. I’ve gotten my moneys worth. I’ll buy another one similar. The new ones have a Bluetooth app… and are like 13 bucks.

How do you power them? Ah I see there are some 12v ones intended for cars, including both cigarette lighter adapter or hardwire options.

I just wired it to my 48->12v converter. Didn’t need a switch or anything, they turn on/off with the remote control.

I did have to extend the wiring for the IR eye about 6 feet cause it was only about 6-8” long but that wasn’t a big deal

Did you make your ring to mount your lights on, or where did you get that?
I would like some details. That is a fun idea.
