RPM question...
Ive got a 94 Club car and i put the new fe350 in it from CPP and used the rpm limiter off the old fe290. My question now is, how many rpm's is the motor limited to? I have heard two different things... 2700 and 3300? If im limited at 2700 then can i get a limiter that is limited to 3300 and put that on...and if so. where do i find one?(maybe from a different year CC) My major concern is just to try and keep the limiter. Cause i do alot of road riding and get kinda excited some times and dont want to get in the danger zone of the motor..im going 38.9 when i hit the limiter, with 6:1's & machined drive clutch. I just think it would pull up the hills a little better at 3300 than 2700. If none of that works, im just going to get a tach...and remove the limiter. Then its really gonna get interesting.....

Re: RPM question...
38.9 MPH? Thats moving on. I don`t think I`d mess with that much. Because of the 6:1 rear your torque is going to be limited and a higher RPM isn`t going to help a lot going up hills as the engine only developes so much H/P. How did you have the clutch machined? for speed or torque? I`m pretty sure that 3300 is the RPM set with the limiter

Re: RPM question...
yea, its pretty quick.. but im not sure how the clutch was machined.... i bought it from a member on here. but i know that it has the 200rpm spring and the belt comes all the way out when at full rpm...I just thought that the motor would make a little more power at 3300 because it would be more in its power band.... but if its already at 3300 then im good with it...
