Club Car Carry All II Starter Won't Work
I've replaced the battery, the cables etc on this cart but when I push the gas pedal down nothing happens. When i jump across the selonoid the starter does nothing. Does this sound like a defective starter? Is there any way for me to trouble shoot the problem?
Thanks Randy |

does your cart have the 10 amp fuse in the black box? if so check that 1st..............if the fuse is good than put cart in maintence mode and jump large posts on solenoid see if cart turns over if so replace solenoid....................

Also check your relay micro switches the one with three wires going in. theres one in the black box and one on the F/R lever. If you replace the soleniod and still won't start change both of them they're about $2.50 a peice.

You may want to read this thread regarding a no-start and the generator/starter problem...
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...tor-101-a.html It is several pages, but covers much of the diagnostics you may want to try. |

I had similar problem CC 1997 gas after replacing starter/generator and belt. After driving it off and on for about two hours I readjusted the belt tension and worked much better.

Is the starter gen belt supposed to slip a little? Seems to me on my carryall if I have the belt tight and the engine is on the compression stroke it won't turn over. If I hit the pedal a few times then it will roll over. Is this normal?
