handling
I have a 1995 G14 yamaha cart lifted 7" with 23x11x12 tires andit feels out of control is this normal and if not it there a fix for it thanks

Nice car, what kind of lift? And have you done wheel alignment after lift kit install?

It's a home made lift copy of a jakes lift kit I set the toe is there something else to do for wheel alignment

That should be it, if it is an eighth inch. Is your steering box loose (lot of play in the steering wheel)?

If everything is in spec. and everything is tight, it is beyond me. Tire pressure, tires different height, tires not round, grossly out of balance, lift not welded straight, caster not correct...

Need to check the toe again. That usually makes them wander at high speed.

we need a little more info to help. When you say it feels out of control you need to tell us how? does it feel that way at high speed? Low speed? only when you hit a bump? Also if you can post pics of your suspension and how the front end of the cart sits that would help also.
The easy way to measure your toe is to hook your tape on a tire lug and measure over to the other side then do the same thing at about 180 degrees on the tire makeing sure you used a lug that is in EXACTLY the same place. It should be 1/8" tighter in the front |
