Driven Clutch Seized to the Shaft
I was looking over the clutches on my project cart and noticed the helix on the secondary clutch was broken. I then noticed there was no bolt holding the clutch to the shaft. The clutch is seized to the shaft and will not pull off by hand and does not turn on the shaft. The key ways are not lined up either.
Does anybody have any ideas on how I should go about getting this clutch off? |

Re: Driven Clutch Seized to the Shaft
well dreamer if you have it seized, the key way is sheared off, and no reatineing nut, i think its time to give it some pursation! please rember it is brittle cast aluiniun and is its very easy to damage! but i think this is going to have to be replaced with a new one or a new used one! i dont think it is going to come off with out a fight!

Re: Driven Clutch Seized to the Shaft
Well I got it off. Anyone have a used one they want to part with. I destroyed 2 Harbor Freight Pullers and the clutch. Whoever put the thing on last must have been challenged.
