We run our batteries in series to achieve our desired voltage. All cells have the same capacity. We then charge our batteries in parallel, which allows each cell to charge fully and then spill over the current from the charger into the slower charging cells. How does your charging system work?

I will just charge in series with a modified golf cart charger. It has a lithium algorithm programmed to charge to 4.2v (nissan leaf cells) and hold constant voltage until the current drops to under 1A.

Sorry late reply. The Nissan Leaf batteries are air cooled. I don't expect any heat concerns.
