"V" means it has a supercharger, and plenty of horsepower for a 4 door sedan. It also is used in the "Rolex" series of road course racing. Pretty much a race piece from the factory in sheeps clothing (but plenty of aftermarket things are available). Kinda like the "'ole days", slap a intake & headers on and watch it fly (plus a new "tune" for the computer now). But still different, every once in a while the OEMs throw us a bone. I wish we had all the neat stuff offered in the aussie market (sweet V8 stick shift "el camino's" are still sold there, the current camaro is an aussie platform).

Tony knows! That makes him a 1%'er.

There is way more then just a supercharger though. A CTS-V 2nd gen has that and bunch more stuff to road race. 6 piston Brembo brakes on huge 15.5" rotors and a seriously upgraded suspension. Of course the 566hp supercharged 6.2L is the star of the show. All stock and very discrete looking.

BTW, a 1st gen V doesn't have all that, the 2nd gen was a huge upgrade. I intend on upgrading even further with another 150hp addition.

Yes the V is on the door and there is one on the rear as well.

I searched for a wagon V but couldn't find one in my price range. The sedan will just have to do.

You need to get a Yamaha gas cart and drop in a supercharged briggs v-twin and snag a caddy front end and slam it. Build your cts-v a little brother.
