Default 97 txt 36v dcs won't move

So I see there is another post similar to this below, 97 36v dcs txt with alltrax 400 dcx controller. Microswitches are good, connections tight, batteries are 6 years old but well maintained and test strong. Cart won't move, it lurches forward and back after sitting for a bit. When you depress the pedal, the led light on controller flashes red 6 times, then remains green. Any ideas as always greatly appreciated, solenoid maybe? It's the original.

As I was doing the diagnostics, the led light stayed green and the cart is running, the test showed possibly ITS maybe, pretty common or not?

Look in the EZGO electric stickies for ScottyB's thread on throttle diagnostics. I prefer testing first rather than trial and error -when possible.

Well 6 red flashes is a battery under voltage failure. Check the pack voltage when the pedal is pushed on the controller side of the solenoid and see what it is. If it is below the pack check the solenoid.
