Installing 48v charging receptacle... what's this?
I'm converting my 95' 36v EZGO Medalist to 48V.
I ordered this 48V charging receptacle. https://www.amazon.com/10L0L-602529-..._dp&th=1&psc=1 My old 36v receptacle had 3 wires but this one has an extra short 4th wire with what looks like an inline fuse... Do I need to do anything with this? |

Depends on the male plug on your charger.
I kept the original receptacle (SB50) when I upgraded my Medalist and ordered the SB50 male plug when I purchased my charger. Either way make sure to bypass the reed switch, if not already done. |
