club car won't do anything/move

i was driving my 2002 club car ds, stopped at a friend house for a few minutes. went to leave and it wouldn't do anything. someone told me to put a new solenoid in it. it didn't work. so i put a new ignition switch in and that didn't work either. any ideas?

If you haven't already done so, check all your ground wires. You may be surprised how many that cart has. That is what I would do first. Use a test meter or light to make sure your switch is getting power.

Did you make sure you weren’t in neutral? Also you have a cart of your own that doesn’t work and you can’t fix it and someone else brought you another cart to fix? (other thread right below this). Weird

Yes, I'm the transportation director for a school district and the guy in charge of building maintenance messed the football teams golf cart up. So he brought it to me to fix. I don't work on golf carts very often so yes. it is somewhat weird i guess
