93 gas ezgo engine change
Hi, I’m planning on changing out my engine on a 1993 ezgo marathon. I’m putting in a stock rebuilt engine. Is there anything I should upgrade or check while I have my motor out? Also should I change out motor mounts while I have it out? They’ve never been changed and I figure the rubber bushings on them are probably shot. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks in advance

Re: 93 gas ezgo engine change
The motor mounts wouldn't be a bad idea since they are under the engine. Most everything else isn't critical regarding access. I've never owned a 93, but most golf carts have pretty decent access.
Just be sure to install new tune up parts, intake and exhaust gaskets, and rebuild the carb. Maybe remove the tank and clean and flush? New rubber hoses, vac lines, fuel lines? |
