Default motor upgrade advise ?

Ok troops. need some advise: i have this factory ezgo limo 48v. it has the stock fleet speed motor, 350 or 400amp controller. i'm currently building a heavy duty FnR swt, and have a 400 amp solenoid on the way already went to #2 weld wire. will be upgrading the controller to logisystems or altrax next week but need some help with a motor. talked to EMP asking for 25Mph + and they didn't want to touch it, so i need options on a motor. this thing weighs 1500 Lbs and can carry 6 pass.has 27" tall tires. thanks in advance. Tank

Anytime that you are going to try to turn tall tires, especially 27" tires, and heavy weight, especially 1500 lbs, you need to go with the highest torque motor available. Mabye the GE "Beast" or im sure that D&D has something compatable. If your speed is still not right after that, then just adjust your gear ratio to get the desired speed.

D&D 76-51 motor and get a controller that can handle at least 60 volts. Put 2 additional batteries under the rear seat (or middle), use a seperate 12v charger to charge them, get a solenoid that can handle the voltage.
