EZGO no go no mo
I recently acquired what appears to be a 1989 EZGO Freedom(?) model
36 volt cart. It has been sitting dead for several months and would not charge. Even after charging the batteries individually, I reconnected everything and the charger still would not start. Long story short, I removed the cable at S2 on the motor and, viola! it charges. I tested the motor with pos, neg and a jumper and it ran just fine.(bench test) If I reconnect S2, big sparks and poof, dead batteries. Now, why? Where do I start with this mess. I don't know if someone has tinkered with it or not, and I don't know where to test for +36 vs. -36v Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Re: EZGO no go no mo
PM me or post your email address and I will send you the diagnostics for your cart. It's 6MB so I can't post.
