Default I.D. my ezgo and help with parts

I found the manufacturer tag: manufacturer code : K201, serial # 1419172.

Based on that info what are some basic add-ons/mods I can do to give it some extra cajones.

The first parts I bought were retractable seat belts for my kids from everythingcarts and while I was on phone she suggested some $18 converter to give me some extra power but didn't buy because i didn't know if it would be compatible with my cart.

Your cart was built in Nov 01

Where is your forward and reverse switch?

forward/reverse is below the seat. Is my cart a PDS or SDS?

Either series or DCS.
Does the FNR switch has a rod inside connecting to a board?

This will help

Can you verify the year and tell us which one of the three drive systems you have?

The last 2 numbers of the manufactures code is the year, located inside the passenger side glove box, the 2004 and newer ezgos dont have a serial number plate in the box, they have a serial number sticker under the rear access panel behind the seat, and then on the driverside frame rail below the floor board.

DCS will have a F&R lever behind the driver's knee and a run/tow switch on the enviromental cover on the controller. The backside of the f&R looks round like a hockey puck.

PDS carts will have a Tow/Run switch with toggle switch for F&R on the dash

SERIES carts will have a shift lever like the dcs cart down by your legs, but it will NOT have a tow/run switch. Also the actual F&R switch is in the corner by the controller and there is linkage from it to the lever in the center.....

The code and serial i listed in my original post. The F/R toggle has a rod linking to a box on the passenger side of the vehicle so it sounds like its a series. Is that good or bad as far as upgrading goes?

Well after reading up I think I am going to upgrade to 4 ga.wires all around then look at a new controller,I am thinking the AXE 4845 if it still under-power.

36V cart, not interested in going to 48v at this time really. I just want a little extra power to get up driveways etc.
