Default make engine stay running by a switch

How can I bypass the microswitch and make my cart stay running by a toggle switch?

It would be simple to do ~ just intercept the wires to the peddle box micro. the red wire and attach both ends to the same side of a simple toggle switch. Cut the green wire and attach both ends to the other terminal on the toggle switch .... now when you flip the toggle switch you make a connection between the red and green just like the peddle micro does..... but why would you want to?

Thanks, My dads cart will stay running if you flip a toggle switch or if the switch is off it will still work using the pedal microswitch. How could you wire it to where it will work both ways? Thanks in advance. I want to be able to make my cart idol in order to fill the compressor for my air horns and charge my battery without driving it.

You will also need to change the clutch spring.
