1994 club car ds not running
i have a 1994 club car ds with brand new batteries in it. it doesn't run or even a click from the solenoid when you push the pedal. As soon as you jump the solenoid from large post to large post it takes off even with the key off and pedal still up. Does anyone have a clue what this may be or where to lead me

Re: 1994 club car ds not running
Tell us a bit more about the history of the cart. It should be a controller cart with no resistor coils. Is this correct?
Also, that cart is subject to take off any minute. At a minimum, jack the rear wheels off the ground and make sure it is in neutral. |

What is the serial number on the cart? Please post some photos of the battery compartment and the resistor coils.

Re: 1994 club car ds not running
That is a pretty simple system to fix, do the following:
Raise one rear wheel off the ground for safety. Measure the voltage between the two Solenoid small posts. If You have +36v, replace the Solenoid. If You don't have +36v between the Solenoid small posts:
Otherwise: 1994 with negative key Switch:Measure the voltage between the Solenoid small post with the Green wire (red meter probe) and the pack negative battery post (black meter probe).1995+ with positive key Switch: Here is the 1995 (positive key switch) wiring diagram for reference: Here is the 1994 (Negative Key Switch) wiring diagram for reference: Last edited by Sergio; 10-02-2020 at 12:50 PM.. What were your voltage results from the tests above?
