Re: 1999 Workhorse burning oil
I changed the oil this winter and measured 1.5 back in.
I'll do a compression test later after I feel better. Dang decongestants... I'll post what it shows. |

Re: 1999 Workhorse burning oil
And.. M&M just emailed me and said it would be $700 for a rebuild. I'm sure if the person that had it before me abused it and any parts are scored, etc it will be more.
I wish these carts came with an hour meter from the factory so we would know how much wear they went through. |

Re: 1999 Workhorse burning oil
Well, compression test was 90 on both. It's running fine so I'll just rebuild it this winter.

Re: 1999 Workhorse burning oil
It actually runs @90 psi? That’s like half of what it should be.... I’d have to question the method or the tool. But as long as it’s not making noise you aren’t gonna hurt anything running it until you can rebuild it. Though if 90psi is correct I wouldn’t stray far from home or you may be pushing...

At Motors and More, if your crank needs replaced it's an extra $300, just so you know.
