More questions about the 13 and 16 clone.

The fuel pump/tank issue. I understand that these engines are designed to run gravity feed with the small tank on top so I'm curuoius if there are any alternatives. Can you remove the tank and run a fuel pump out of the stock tank? Would it have to be an electric fuel pump if the clone didn't leave a port for vacuum?

Hows the torque curve as felt by the old "seat of the pants test" especially when mashing the throttle in the area of about half speed cruising?

I'm using the gravity fed tank that came on the motor.

I strap a 2 gal. gas can where the factory tank was but we've ridden all day and never had to refuel.

A missing member from this forum (NO NO EZGO) posted these motors wouldn't run off the cart tank because of the vacuum fuel pump and they are very picky about fuel pressure so I decided to use the gravity fed just to avoid problems.

I'd get one of those inline hand fuel pumps like that on a boat and then use the stock tank. Everytime your start your cart, just pump a little in. Shouldn't have to do it very much.

What did everyone do for belts for the 13hp motor? I'm having to move the motor up two inches, so my stock belt won't work.

Sooner or later I'm going to get this motor working. Any help would be appreciated!

I put a 3/16" spacer inbetween my driven clutch faces to accept a 1 3/16" belt found on atvs and other stuff so I could get the perfect length.
