Dead cart unless I unplug harness and plug back in

2017 EZGO txt.
Cart does not move no solenoid click but if I unplug the four wire harness and plug it back in cart works just fine.
If I turn the key off the cart will not move again I unplug the harness and plug it back in and it works again I have to do this every time what could possibly be wrong

Which 4 wire harness? The run tow?

Not the tow switch it's a flat plug that lies between the controller and solenoid in the harness

If the wire colors are white, black, red and green that is the plug to the foot pedal switch and its. Possible the switch is bad and not opening so the cart will engage the solenoid. Make sure to pull the pedal all the way up. You can also test the switch with a vom and look for continuity on red and green when pushed and none with the pedal up.
