Slow starts
Got a '97 cc 48v regen from a cart "dealer/repair" guy today. The cart is in great condition but has a known problem of when pushing down the accelorator the cart takes 2 or 3 seconds to respond then gradually gains speed. The seller said they replaced the controller, microswitch and all new batts. but still did not solve the prob. He was frustrated with it and let it go for $1000.( my gain I hope). So what is causing the problem? If need be I could upgrade the motor and controller ect. or try to fix it. I heard the regens suck anyhow. I'm gonna 6" lift it and put 12"wheels and 23" tires.
