Default non starter

1999 club car ds got spark and fuel, turns over slowly, won't start.
It will suddenly stop turning over, got feed from switch to solenoid and circuit to micro switch on orange cable.
Turns over when bridged across solenoid or direct from battery but won't start,
please help

Hello. You may have multiple problems here. Is the spark blue or yellowish? If it's yellow then the coil might be faulty. Also from what you said your solenoid seems to have gone bad. You can get a replacement on Amazon or Ebay and they are easy to replace.

Turns over slowly indicates a weak battery or bad connection. I’d check into that before looking too much deeper… one thing at a time

I would clean up your battery post connections first before firing the parts cannon. I had a machine this week, throwing dozens of fault codes, no crank, erratic control display etc. Took a five minute fix to solve by just cleaning the battery ground.

You would be amazed at some of the things I see at work

And yes, some are fixed simply by replacing the battery. Which can be fun especially considering the car is so new the tires have never rolled under their own power before.
