No worries, I appreciate the dialog and have been attempting deep though on your inquiries...I'm reading CP241's comment and I think your line of questioning is leading me to the conclusion that I spliced on the wrong side...which I did consider but did not read or missed it saying splice the controller side. the connector pictures lead me to thinking I was in the right place. Correct "series" doesn't exist in post 2, I'm referencing the 40+ pages.

If that's the case Volt_Ampere and CP241 thanks for that insight as well.

Attached a pic of where it should be spliced, isolated the obc from the rest of the system. On the right track now?

You're on the right track, but you connected the wires going to the wrong part. You connected the wires on the OBC side. Grab the other part of the harness that's on the CART side and connect the white and blue.

Yours is a newer cart, but wire color and function is the same as in the pics here:

Fairtax4me, thank you for that write up, wish I had found that first!!

I do think at some point, the 41 pages became a blur of information, lots of good stuff and honestly I had a brain fart in understanding the flow and where the OBC landed in that path. Seeing it in your pics helped visually confirm it!
