Default Yamaha Drive Team Rear Axel Wet Brakes

My Yamaha 2008 electric drive 1 had a bad input shaft on a team rear axle so I decided to rebuild entire axle , new input shaft. bearings, wet brake discs. Problem I am having when I put the new brake discs in and tighten them down the axle on the wet brake side no longer turns.

I don't know if this is correct but it doesn't seam to be. when you crank on the lever that causes the brake to actuate, I don't know if that action causes them to lock or unlock? I know it ramps some ball bearings up a ramp on the brake main plate.

I wrote to team industries and the manual for this cart appears to be classified top secret. I can't find it or buy it anywhere. The manual for a 2008 electric drive can be found but it doesn't cover that axle.

Does anybody know where I can get this manual or have any insight into the wet brake disc assembly?

Thanks
Bill

You don't have it assembled correctly if it doesn't turn freely. Somebody here has posted the section of the shop manual that covers doing the brake assembly because I used it a year ago to do mine.

Thanks I wish I would have found this before ordering the manual I am still waiting for.

Here is the link if it helps anyone else.

The main assembly is probably hung up on the bottom disc if it binds when you tighten things. You just have to work it until it drops all the way down. I think I read about this somewhere too. It helps to align all of the discs before assembling the big part.

Thanks for all your help, when I finally took the manual out and did a re-assembly I discovered the problem. The Chinese brake plate kit that I got from eBay was nice enough to include 5 steel reaction plates, problem was that before I got the manual I did not realize that the axle only requires 4. Took out the extra plate and everything was great.
