For sure! They do help the batteries from knocking around, but only on flat pavement. I was unable to re-install the original clamps over these Costco batteries and still haven't found a way -- perhaps I'll try some tie downs, like we use for roof racks.

And if anyone needs it, here's the owner's manual. I recently installed new king pins (there's an easy trick to get the caps on -- use the old pin and a hammer to get the top cap installed. Made the second wheel's kit much easier to install) and (carefully) adjusted the steering box screw. Much, much tighter steering.
