Default Seat repair ideas for 2008 G29

I have a new to me G29. The seats need some work. The seat backs have separated on the passenger side some and I noticed the padding is glued in right around the plastic backing. Has anyone tried to fix this problem before recovering? Trying not to put a ton of money just into the seat back if possible.

I don't know where are but check with local shops that do custom builds. They likely have many used but decent take offs. You're right that the way those seats are put together they can be a bother to fi, & recover.

Definitely check the local shops. My upper seat back bolt broke the plastic and just spun when I was recovering it. I had to break it off. I was going to order a new one for $150+ but I decided to check my local shop. The owner told me it would cost me a 12 pack of Miller Light. I brought the man a case :).

Don't you love it when things work out like this?
