Default Yamaha G29 Lift

Hello All,
Brand new to carting and picked up a nice used 2011 G29. The tires are about shot so i was going to go ahead and lift it with new tires. I am looking at the spindle lifts versus the suspension lifts. After reading some of ScottyB's tips I am going with 20 in tires. Is one style lift more favorable than the other as far as longevity and performance? Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

20" tires will fit w/o any lift on the Yamaha. A lift makes things worse, more or less.

Thank you for the reply and info. One of the reasons I want to lift is I do use the cart on my farm and I have already snagged the side molding at the bottom.

The drop down spindle is the cheapest and also the worst but there a lot of them out there.
It does nothing to maintain the correct steering geometry or suspension geometry. As a result, the handling suffers.

youll be bouncing around the farm so much, Id suggest spend a little and get a nicer one.

if you were more of a pavement pounder neighborhood cruiser, Id say a spindle is ok, to each there own, no right or wrong answer, ive held off for so long becuase I kept over thinking it, this year, im lifting mine and installing lithium batteries.
